Jason Torrance

Assistant Chief Executive, UK100
Jason is Assistant Chief Executive for UK100, the only network for UK locally elected leaders who have pledged to play their part in the global effort to avoid the worst impacts of climate change by switching to 100% clean energy by 2050. Jason previously worked at Greenpeace, Sustrans and Campaign for Better Transport, and has also been seconded into the Department for Transport to consult on walking and cycling initiatives. In addition, he has co-chaired a stakeholder advisory group for Highways England.
 

Tim Anderson

Group Head of Transport, Energy Saving Trust
Tim Anderson joined Energy Saving Trust 2007 and leads the low carbon transport portfolio. Previously, he was in management roles in the automotive sector including daily rental and managing fleets. Tim is leading the work to address the climate emergency and poor air quality through delivering EST’s government funded programmes and commercial projects in the sustainable transport sector.

Stephen Lowndes

Technical Director, Carbon & Energy Fund
Stephen Lowndes BEng (Hons) MSc CEng MCIBSE MEI has many years’ experience of energy project design, as well as supporting operational management including carbon and energy management within the public sector that started with NHS projects in the 1980s.

Mark Bramah

Change and Sustainability Project Manager, Rochdale Borough Council
Mark is the Climate Change and Sustainability Project Manager for Rochdale Borough Council. His role is to lead on improving sustainability and reducing the borough’s carbon footprint to realise health, social, economic and environmental co benefits. He supports the preparation, implementation and monitoring of an overarching sustainability and carbon reduction strategy for the borough of Rochdale as well as ensuring that the Council fulfils its obligations under the Greater Manchester Environment Plan.

Chris Hewett

Chief Executive, Solar Energy UK
Chris Hewett joined the Solar Energy UK (formerly Solar Trade Association) in 2017 and became Chief Executive in January 2018. He has 25 years’ experience in advocacy, policy research, thought leadership and campaigning on a wide variety of sustainability, energy and environmental issues. 

Mark Constable

Head of Business Development, Trojan Energy
Mark drove his first EV in 2008, and inside the first minute saw the potential impact eMobility could have on the world.  He led the Electric Vehicle product team at EDF Energy early on in the UK market, and recently developed a large-scale Commercial Rapid Charging Hub build programme for Transport for London.  Mark joined Trojan in May 2021 as Head of Business Development, leading on marketing, sales and public affairs, at a time when EV uptake is accelerating and meeting the on-street infrastructure challenge becomes ever more urgent.

Valeria Ferrando

Associate Director, ICL Consultancy - IES
Valeria has 14 years experience in the field of innovation and consultancy projects focussed on sustainability and energy efficiency of the built environment. She graduated at the University of Genova and got her PhD with a thesis on the effects of disorder in the multi-band structure of Magnesium Diboride thin films.
