Sustainability Manager, University of Sussex
Sam has an MSc in Global Politics and spent most of her career working in the Civil Service, where she regularly advised Ministers in Whitehall and Westminster. Her previous roles in Government included Head of International Relations and Trade Policy, Energy Efficiency Policy, and Biofuels Policy.

After leaving Government she worked as a Principle Sustainable Development Consultant for Mott MacDonald with a focus on social value, equality impacts and accessible and inclusive design. She has been working at Sussex since March 2020 where she has been leading on the development of sustainability policy, strategy, engagement and delivery at an institutional level.
